Currently we have only two forums http://team-bhp.com/forum for cars and htt://xbhp.com for bikes. both of them are HUGE forums so no way I am competing with them I do not even exist ![]() But I believe as there are only 2 forums, there is enough space to start one more. I would appreciate if you can visit these two forums http://team-bhp.com/forum and htt://xbhp.com and give me some ideas, for starting a new forum in same space i.e. Car for Indian Consumers Looking forward to your replies

With this login only board which would have exited are Big Boards and companies like VB, IP would have sold just few handful of licenses. Whether I succeed or not, only one car forum for a population of 1.1billion with 300million middle class...I think there is quite a room for couple of more forums

Some thing which is only possible if you are genuinely interested in cars and have connections with people who are interested in the same and will be willing to contribute in the beginning to give it a good start. Believe me starting a forum is easy but making it successful is a tough task. It is easy to say that there is such huge number of people out there, however one also has to think on how you will reach that audience. For instance in your shutterweek forum you are lacking activity at this moment since only three of the thirteen registered members are currently posting. This lack of activity is unlikely to entice people who are needed for making the forum active. So either you have to have a huge budget or some thing special which will be advertised in a right manner to make people join your forums. Rest I can't comment cause I don't know you so I don't know if you have a good knowledge of cars and car communities and know car enthusiast well enough that they will be willing to join an empty forum when they can join a larger forum. Most of the registrations on my touring forum has come from the reputation I have in biking fraternity in India and abroad. My 2 cents would be to right now concentrate on your shutterweek forum and make it big and when it is successful use it as a launch base for another forum. In the end if you do decide to launch a car forum right now, then I sincerely hope it becomes a successful forum and adds value to the car scene in India.
