Changing your target audience

Does anyone know of a way to change the target age for your forums? A lot of the younger members of our forum (not all, but a lot) have been causing problems, and I want to start targeting an older audience. How can I go about doing this?

What's you're definition of an, "older audience" (age range, that is)?

Well I'm getting a lot of younger people (around 13) joining. I'm looking for older. 17 and older? 18 and older? Just something older than what I'm currently getting.

I am not sure. Seems kinda of odd that your forum gets 13-17 year olds, seems to me they would be older for a bird forum. But what do I know.

You could start advertising in other forums, such as a general pet site, a fish site, or something pet related. That might get you a little more targeted.

Another one is maybe get some contacts going at your local pet stores and see if you can advertise there on a bulletin board or maybe even be able to put a slip of paper in the box each and every time they sell a budgie.
