Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 1  | New domain and VB license... I just bought a VB license and rambleon.cc hoping to do, well, something... I'm not really sure, and that kind of epitomizes what I want the community to be geared towards - something - just nothing specific. Yes, another general discussion community! I'm leaning in the no holds barred, raw type of discussion community... Any thoughts, or suggestions would be appreciated. It's hard to make something about nothing.  | ||||

Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 652  | Well, general discussion communities are tricky; there are millions of them out there, and frankly, a lot of them are huge and highly active, so guests would greatly prefer their forums over yours. You're going to need to come up with something that will pull people away from the other general discussion forums and into yours. | ||||

| If you're 100% set on making a general discussion community, you need to come up with something unique to set yourself apart. Its hard in your niche because everything is just that, general.
