We're not looking for people to simply "blurt" out their ideas for the taking, we're looking to invest our time, our development team and our capital into bringing some ideas to life.

For that very reason, I provided my AIM contact as well as e-mail. Alternatively, anyone is free to PM me here at AF.

Not everyone has the ability to create and develop, the finances to proceed or there is something else stopping them. That's where we're looking to step in and assist.

With the sharing, we'll work out a profit sharing split that will be beneficial to both parties.

Well I got several ideas that I have written down somewhere on my fancy stack of notes. I might now be very keen to share any of the information with anyone. Unfortunately all the forum ideas I have, now rest with Magnetism and the company I am part of, so I am sorry to say I can't reveal any of those ideas. However, if you are not talking about forums, then I have several, but why should I share them with you?

@forevagrey - At the moment, we're not looking into starting and/or developing a new forum/community. While we're aware of a few niche areas that have yet to be "worn out", it's simply not something we're looking to undertake at this specific time.


As far as other ideas go, we do welcome them and would love to discuss them with anyone willing to share them, with or without an NDA.

Why share the ideas? As mentioned in previous posts in this thread, not everyone has the finances or development team to progress an idea from pen & paper to a work in progress.

We're working with a few members from various communities on other ideas that they've taken the time to share and we've worked out a nice profit sharing deal in exchange for the rights to use the idea.

Some of the ideas will be presented at SouthernAccel, some on a more private basis.

As with any idea, we read through, discuss it with the person and then let them know what we can offer at the moment. If we both agree it's worth persuing, we both settle on the agreement and close on the deal.

We then work on the project at hand, share thoughts and suggestions on how to make it better as it progresses and discuss what we may could add in the future.

We're not open and shut about the process. If you share an idea, you're involved as much as you'd like to be.

With that said, if you have something you'd like to share, please feel free to contact me via e-mail or AIM. I am more often checking my e-mail than on AIM simply because I am on the road for 8-10 hours of the day stopping in an out of places.
