Best place to buy a site?

I am wondering if any of you could tell me where you think is the best place to buy websites / forums?

I tried eBay, but it was full of quite obviously fake promises of $XXX income, and other sorts of stuff.

I would try sitepoint and earners forum, both of them have great marketplaces for buying and selling and you can also put in a 'want to buy' listing.

Thanks for the mentions of Earners Forum guys.

I also like Site Point, Digital Point, Name Pros, and DNForum.com

SitePoint is a great resource for buying and selling, in fact, any websites I've sold have generally been through there. Others have been private sales and were not listed.

You really can't beat their pricing on listings either.

As for EF, last I recall it was free to list, which will most likely attract visitors, so it's worth a shot to browse through and see if you are able to find something your looking for. The forum/website is one of the best designed I've seen in a while .

eBay is good for real life products (by that i mean products like TV, Computers, Accessories...etc, not Online Products). SitePoint, thats the best place to go to buy, sell and trade basically anything related to websites. I would suggest that you use that, its more professional and safe if you know what i mean. EarnersForum is also great but if it just had more listings then it would pretty much be as good as SitePoint.

If your going to post a 'WANTED' sale then i'd suggest using more than one marketplace to get better results, good luck
