I think it's a very interesting idea too...I dunno if I'd be willing to undertake it, though, simply because of all the risks involved. As people have already said, a lot of what cops see and do is confidential. They can probably get away with a lot of story telling if they don't name any names, but I'm sure it's still thin ice.

I'd love to see it done, Dave, just be sure to do your research first. How are you going to distinguish real cops from wannabe's? I could foresee some 15 year old kid (no offense to the 15 year olds out there ) walk in and start making up ridiculous stories...Stories that nobody could really deny, because how do you know it didn't happen?

I know the police here in the UK aren't allowed to discuss things on forums. They don't even have one on their own site.

There is a huge forum out there. It's called OFFICER.com. There are both cops and civilians on that site.
