A HUGE List of Forums?

I didn't like the idea of choosing simply one tv show to focus on, so I decided to take every show into my new website:
TV Location - Powered by vBulletin

The only question I have is whether it would be such a smart idea? I haven't finished adding a good amount of the Cable Networks either. I was thinking about also putting in a droplist at the top that allowed users to choose exactly which tv series they wanted.

That's a very nice forum you have there

The Television, TV Spotlight and TV Archive sections at my forums are very popular so I wish you good luck.

Sort of offtopic, but you desperately need this hack:

I saw your forum when I looked through, but you don't seem to be doing independent forums for each network, which is what I'm wondering would be successful or not...

I am actually happy with the way my forum currently is set up, but more the point of your recommendation/suggestion, I would love to add subforums, but the program I use (WOWbb) does not have them yet. It has just about everything else, but not subforums yet. It is supposed to be part of the next upgrade that is coming soon, so I will have them then. Thanks again for checking out the site. If you are a TV fan I hope you register and talk some TV with us!

I dont understand. Each network has its own section for its own shows, as do the cable channels and other networks. Over time I have combines a few of them where there is slower activity.
I do not understand your comment.

CBS Shows - Networks - TV and Dinner
You only seem to have a couple shows, I plan on putting all the shows.
CBS - TV Location

My concern is whether this would have one of two results:

It would either boom with posts
Or have too little posts...

I am adding shows and members can add shows as there is interest to post about them. Adding everything initially makes no sense. you may have many empty forums, especially early when you are just starting. I originally started by making a forum for every single show and it made no sense, at least not to me. Any member can start a new thread for a new show whenever they want. If some one accidentally starts a thread for a show that already have a thread I just combine them.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well....But now I was thinking of making sub-domains for each network and trying to optimize each forum into ranking in SERPs and simply eliminating the dead forums later on...

you might end up with a long long list of emptiness. Your call of course, but I would add as there is a demand...
