The "Why aren't you joining?!" Thread - Page 3

I subscribe to news feeds of Ford websites in order to get the latest news as quickly as possible. I also have access to Ford's Media Center. I try to find as much interesting news as I can on the Mustang and write up an article about it. Then I go to other Automotive blogs that have an email for news tips and shoot them an email if they haven't already got it covered. I also shoot a PM to some members who are active on other sites and see if they don't mind posting up something about it on their forums.

News is an easy way to get back links built up.

Header could be better. Maybe include an image of something to do with golf so people know right off that bat the forum is for golf.

I was finding it a little hard to pick a major fault on your forum that would keep me away,

But then i clicked to view a thread, and it seems you give your members a huge space for their signatures and they just seemed way too big in comparison to the size of the text...

Maybe look to limit this.

But i have to say, congratulations on the forum!! from what i gather you only started a few months ago?! and you have a REALLY decent active forum going there!

I think that the top part of your forum took way too much room. Other than that, I don't really see anything else that should be corrected in my opinion.

@Killswitch: Your forum is too long for a homepage. And also has too many ads. And plus, wrestling is not exactly my niche!

The header doesn't really match the theme, and the theme is pretty bland.

Belloman: I wouldn't join because the font dosen't look very pretty on Linux - if you ran a Live CD you'd see what I mean. Plus I haven't played RCT for a while now... maybe I should start again and join your forum?
