See what they are using for forums and descriptions, and go from there...Just don't copy their structure and descriptions word for word.

TV Shows and Movies are themselves separate categories of course, and for each there are varying genres, (sitcom, drama, etc.), within which are the shows themselves. Moreover, "Celebrities" after you drill down into those categories by whatever means, may have "one-to-many" relationships to tv and movies. (Which might not matter to you.) That is, an actor/actress may be in both movies and tv shows and you may want to link back to the appropriate forums, maybe from a sticky for that actor/actress. Bottom line is I think you should maybe think about just what specific things your forums are going to be about, (at the lowest level). At that point, what things look like from "the bottom up" should help inform what categories you use. (That is, forum/sub-forum structure.) Your goal should be to strive for some kind of balance. Maybe you don't need to break things down by genre. Maybe that doesn't make sense for you. Or maybe you need to start in a specialty vertical area and then branch out from there once you've built some traffic. If you just think about the whole hierarchy in this way, you may find things just organizing themselves. Then the actual labels and descriptions should be easier to write. Scott

Having too many forums displaying on the main page will spread posts out and seem like there is less.
