Join Date: Dec 2006 Posts: 481   | Forum for guys I'm starting a new forum and hoping it will be a hit. I have looked around the 'net and there are a lot of feminist/female support forums out there but few (certainly not as many) male/men/guy support forums. Of course, the counter argument to this would be that 98% of forum-goers are male, but that doesn't mean we guys don't need somewhere we can call our own. Question is, what kind of subjects and features would you like to see, or expect to see, on a forum of this ilk? I'm very much in the planning stages. The domain is purchased but that is as far as I have got in terms of setting this up. I'm looking for some suggestions from the fine AF folk.  | ||||

Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 10,246 Location: Athens, GA | I think that the phrase "guyforums" is good, the only thing I don't like is the .net I'd really try to come up with a .com domain...I just don't like the thought of running a forum primarily off of a .net. I think you would lose a lot of traffic (type-in return visitors) because of it.

Off the top of my head I can think of the Rogue Forums, Monks Diner, and a bunch others that are males dominated themes, topics, etc. Even Jaded Souls is that angle. .... | ||||
