| Obviously you don't want to start a forum if there is not enough of an audience but if there are other large forums in this area then if you can offer something unique or improve upon something they do then you certainly have a chance for success.

| Okay, well lets say you had found something, how many forums in that area would there have to be for you to not do it, and consider it not worth the risk of doing and it all failing totally? (Yes, I know that is a possibility with ANY forum, but I personally think the more competition, the harder it will be)

| If you can come up with something unique or improve upon something the other forums are doing then it doesn't matter how many other forums there are. I've been unsure about that same thing in the past and everyone gave me good input in this thread which might be of interest to you.
