I posted a job in joomlancers. Got lots of silly low ball offers. went with a guy who said he would do it for 1$ - I thought he was doing it for the rep points & feedback. No he says "thats my starting bid, can we negociate?" errr no - thats why you have to put your bid where others can see

I usually go to forums and ask around there... now I just stick to the guys I've worked with.

Custom Web Design and Programming. Freelance Programmers. Outsource Web Development Outsourcing is also a large freelancer website, but beware of many scammers lurking over there lately. Most of them will just get your project and outsource it elsewhere.
