New Forum - Usergroup Names

| New Forum - Usergroup Names I am looking to find out some suggestions on usergroup names that I can use for a new parenting forum. We thought about using something like the following but this seems a little tacky. Freshman Sophomore Junior Senior We want to add a few usergroups (no more than 4 or 5) to give people something positive they can work toward when posting. Added benefits will be increased for each usergroup. If you can think of something really good to use, that is parenting related, then please let me know. Thanks!

| Hey, I like those. Thanks Harlzard. Of course anyone else is still free to throw in any suggestions of their own.

Seeing as how it is a parenting forum, being considered a monitor, supervisor, or babysitter instead of a father or mother is kind of silly. There are a couple of parenting forum owners here at AdminFusion, you should try and get with them for some ideas because personally, I can't think of anything at the moment. I don't mean to say just throw out those suggestions, I'm just giving you another opinion from the other side.

| Chris, thanks for the response. Actually some of the other members of the site didn't like the names either. They aren't bad but I know what you mean about having something that is more parenting related. For some reason this is just one of those things I can't seem to grasp. Thanks again!

I, myself, am not a parent, but I was going to be until a miscarriage had occured. ![]() Anyways, some things you should ask yourself when thinking of these user group titles. If you're trying to make it fit your community, what do you call someone who is planning to have a baby? Someone who is expecting? Someone who is in labor? Someone with a newborn? Someone with a toddler? Teenager? Adult? You see where I am going here? I would ask your community, what they would call those kind of parents. Experience wise. Any nick names each field of parenting has. And use those for user group names. The more content they add (the more posts) they get promoted into the next usergroup. It's like they are gaining more experience as a parent. You get what I am saying?
