I'm posting on behalf of Student World Assembly (SWA), an international association of student activists working for human rights, economic security, environmental concerns, and other pressing issues facing humanity. I posted here a few months back about upgrading our discussion forum and got some great advice.

We've been planning this upgrade for months, but are continually stalled by the lack of forum administration knowledge of our small, mostly volunteer staff. We've been in contact with vBulletin for months, only to find out that installation is as far as they take you through the set-up. We would ideally like to find someone to install the software on our website, design the basic layout for us (including weekly polls on the homepage and a way to register members with our organization as they sign up for the forum), and import all of the previous discussion.

We are wondering approximately what this would cost us and if there is anyone that would be willing to perform this service for us, either as a donation or at a discounted rate. The value of your volunteered services would be tax deductible, and we will advertise your company on our website (w/ over half a million hits per month) if you would like. Also, if there is a better place to post this information, please let me know. I have not yet posted enough here to use the buy/sell/trade forum.

With thousands of members worldwide, SWA is poised to be the next major international human rights association. However, we need a new, user-friendly discussion forum to live up to our commitment to fostering a global dialogue among students on the major issues facing humanity.
