Ok I have my forum up, some boards, and I got a prize bought to give away in a contest. Now for what I am stuck on..

Should I add an arcade? If so what one? ibProArcade or v3 Arcade?
Should I add a points system? If so which one? vbBux (was eBux), or uCash/uShop?
Should I add an Article mod? Which one?
Should I add a warning system? Which one?


I also need to get my logo made, just dont have the cash in Paypal right now to get it done.
Plus I have a colum on the right of my forum home page, need to decided what to add there.

So little to do but seems like a lot..

if u have a decent member count, maybe do a contest to see who can make the best banner and give away your prize for that.

we use ibpro and i like it alot, very clean looking and user friendly

we use ebux and like before, i like it and it looks clean on the page.

if you have some polls up on your forum put them there so people can see them easily and check the thread out and vote.

I use VB and I dont see a warning system...

The "News / Info" area on the right is what I need to change, it came with the Style. Just dont know what to add to it.

PS: I have 20+ domains I plan to 301 or 302 ReDirect to this domain... Hope that helps a little in bringing in traffic to get me started.

Well, posting or referral contests seem to work well. Of course posting contests come with a lot of spam... What is your forums topic? Perhaps a contest that is relevant to the topic.

I could make a logo for you for cheap, but not for free sorry, I have bills to pay heh.

Definitely add the Arcade, they keep visitors and members around longer.

I've never seen a real need for a warning system... usually a PM to the trouble member will suffice. No need to show everyone else he is in trouble heh.

In my site i coded a block that displays the latest threads, other for newest members, and a login box, when the user is logged in that is replaced with a welcome message, pm information and some usercp links.

About the logo, it's impossible to make it exactly like the one you linked to, i don't know which is the font. didn't the template come with a psd file?. If not, you can ask in vbmembers for the editable file.

cool those are neat but i think it would look better if "Hot" was in bold just a thought
