Get on message boards dealing with the subject, post, talk about your site, put your link in your signature, etc. I run a gaming website, so I constantly get on the game and talk to people about new updates (of the game, AND my website), bugs, etc, always be friendly and TALK to people! Word of mouth is usually the best way to get osmething on a roll.
