| Number of forums to begin with? I have always felt like 6-8 was the right number. That way you don't have so many to fill up with post. I know you want the community to appear as active and full as possible, but what do you do in the early stages?

| I'll be awkward and say 5-10, depending on the theme of the community. I always like to fill every new forum with at least 20 threads of content prelaunch.
