| Forum Junkie ![]() | Using Admin for the name. Carrying on from Get Shorty's Email address username thing, I hate it when Administrators use "Admin" for there forum name, just doesnt look good IMO.

| Apprentice ![]() | yea I think Admins should just use their name. It looks more professional but yet friendly at the same time. |

| The Webmaster ![]() | I definitely don't really like it when the admins username is admin, it's so impersonal. I like to see when admins use their first names as their username because it gives it that personal community feel.

![]() | I don't use Admin as my username either. I registered it, so nobody else can use it, but I don't personally use it as my username. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | First names tend to be best in most circumstances...but not everybody wants to use their name in forums, which is understandable...so I think it's also ok for an admin to go by some nickname...but don't ever use "Admin". It is definitely very impersonal and will create a larger divide between you and your members.

| Forum Addict ![]() ![]() | I completely agree. Using 'admin' as your username is horrible.
