Arrow Admins giving themselves full rep

This is one of my pet hates.
I hate going to a forum, and seeing Admins with full rep, which quite obviously hasn't been given by members. I see this alot with vBulletin boards.

I feel it is unfair, and just not right (lol) I always play the reputation system, as any normal member would. Also, many admins make it so that if people give thme negative rep, it doesn't alter there actual score. Which REALLY bugs me.

Any of you guys feel the same?

Agreed. Suck it up and accept your shame Same thing with admins who give themselves a ridiculous amount of posts, like 20 million or something

I haven't seen anyone do this before but I certainly wouldn't. Not many people give out rep on my forum aside from me and a few others it seems, but I don't do anything about it besides continue to give out rep to set the example. We have 1 member with 2 pips, I still have 1.

I haven't seen this before either, but then again the sites I frequent use the rep system a lot. On my site we have threads just for giving reps so that is how I got all of mine. We do this weekly, sometimes a couple of times during the week

When I added someone as an admin, he gave himself a ton of rep and he also gave me some [via the ACP]. I have not bothered to change this, but after reading everyone else's response here I think I will.

I too refuse to do that all posts and rep must be earned by all.
It is a competition we all enjoy.
I do not need to ask for any one to help me raise my post count.
We are all constantly posting the site moves very well.
I feel that there is no need to cheat just because you are the Admin.
Looks bad makes others not want to post.

Inescia.

GeorgeB will become famous soon enough
I don't do it. I give myself high rep power though. Just enough so that if I rep someone they gain one rep dot.

It helps with enw forums becaue I can give certain members who post a lot good rep so people will see it and try to get rep too.
