Don't you just love it when you get one of those one in a million staff members? I have a moderator on TalkUSB who is simply amazing, really gets the community going and looks after it greatly.

Do you have any stories of excellent staff members?

I've had a few good staff members who do a lot of work around the forums now and then.

In all of my 5+ years in the industry, I've only had one, "beyond outstanding" staff member. In fact, words can't even describe how great a staff member he is. When I first met him, I said to myself, "Wow...this guy is amazing". To this date, we are best friends, and he continues to amaze me with his work and dedication.

I really can't say enough about him. Paul, if you're reading this, thank's for being such a fantastic staff member.

I only have two mods right now and I can honestly say that I made the best choice in chooseing them. They're both amazing staff members, I know if I have to be away for a day or so that everything will be taken care of. They help keep the forum active, pounce on spam like kittens to mice, and have a great attitude toward moderating.

They're also really good at answering training questions and providing sound advice which is a huge help.

Can you tell I can't say enough about them? I love my staff and I consider myself lucky that I got two great ones.

They ussually don't stay mods that long though. If they are capable, they end up admining their own sites some times. I started as a mod, and I was practically running the forum in place of lazy admins. I figured one day I'd just start doing it myself

I have 2 of them.
1: I have an admin who modded my forum so it gets less spam bots than usual

2: Ashley is my new admin on my fourm, and nothing went wrong with him so far

These kind of people are few and far between and worth their weight in gold. There are not many people that I would feel comfortable leaving in control of one of my "babies".

I have my Curly(n@tor), Skavenger, Sentinel and Vaughn -they take care of my Elisha community - I really appreciate their efforts - especially the fact that it's been a long time and they're still there performing their duty.
