Wink What type of staff do you choose?

Hi; I'm running a forums on IPBFree called Pokemon Random; I have two Co-Admins under me both as friends in real life. One was recruited because he is willing to put alot of work and energy in the forums (But is not very knowledgeble with forums) and the other hasn't done much at all but is very experienced with forums. The first of the too has made alot of the Rpg.

Which of the two types of staff do you prefer and why? (Smart but lazy or the Less smart but willing to help)

Exactly, didn’t know a thing about forum moderation or administration couple of years back. But now I can do most of the stuff that is needed to keep my forums running properly.

I would rather have someone less experienced with forums but dedicated to them. Admin'ing a forum for the first time definitely has a learning curve but once you get used to all the different functions its not too bad. Maybe eventually the dedicated admin will know as much as the lazy one.

Right, it is easy to teach somebody technical skills, but it is not easy to teach dedication or people skills.

I would rather the less knowledgeable but willing to help! Of course, I do my best to find someone that is knowledgeable and that is willing to help... But it doesn't always work!

I am thinking about getting close friends to help out on the forums, a few are really interested in the niche and are willing to learn. I would rather this type because everyone can learn.
