|  Staff meeting ideas We're looking for easy ways to have staff meetings for our forum. Here are the ideas we have so far and responses by staff (in parentheses): staff section of forum and then get typed up by persons present at meeting (been rejected multiple times by server admin; something about server load and unnecessary slowness) IRC Chat/IM software (been rejected by another admin and myself; I can't access either software from where I go to school/work. It's been blocked; other admin works unusual hours) Open up a free board for admin and staff to discuss issues and whatnot (again rejected by server admin due to the reasons stated above for the staff section) Help! I'm out of ideas.   | ||||

Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 740 Location: New Zealand | Staff meetings meaning all at the same time? Impossible on my forum as we have people from all over the world. We just have a staff only forum and discuss things in there.

| That's what I said, but our server admin/developer is bent on real-time meetings. Our head admin is from the UK and the rest of us are from the US. I've exhausted every idea I can think of. @_@ | ||||

| For staff meetings I think IRC would be the best but if thats not an option then could you guys use skype and have a conference call and just do it when you're not at school? If none of that works you might just need to avoid doing actual meetings and just post in the forum.
