     | Staff and advertisements Since this is the first time I have had other "true" staff besides myself or my wife or a tech helper (you know who you are). On the ads that you show your regular members, do you also show those ads to your moderators? Or do you remove them for their usergroup? I am mostly talking Adsense and affiliate programs, not the text links in the right/left columns or the ones that are only show to guest.

 | Oooh, that's a tough one. On one hand, I say take 'em off, (s)he's staff. But on the other, if they're there to help, then they may be interested in something in the ad, and wouldn't mind clicking.

| I don't show any ads at all to Supporting Members or staff. Registered members get one ad on the forum.

| I don't show any ads to members at all, of course that is only limited to forums.

| Personally, I leave them up...These ads don't bother me, and I highly doubt they bother staff members. If I had a bunch of pop-ups, pop-unders, or those bright flashing ads, that might be another story...but banners and text links are not at all distracting. In fact, as RM said, staff may sometimes be interested in the ads - I know that on more than one occasion, I've looked into the products that our advertisers offer.
