| I use my username Dragonfire because I've used that username or a variant of it from the very first forums and chats I joined, and because of that everyone knows me by that. I rarely use my first name, because it's one of the most used names in the world (John), and I'm not used to it. | ||||

| I've always stuck with my screen name for everything. I understand the advantages of real names, ect. , but it was sticking with this name that let my community grow. My forum(s) is kind of an amalgamation of a few communities, and I was known as this on all of them, so they can easily identify with that. If your starting fresh though, it might be better to use names | ||||

| It totally differs for boards status. If the board offers a product then real name is the professional way. Otherwise nickname is always better. I personally use Lizard King always however i use my real name on vBSEO boards. | ||||
