Any liability concerns for moderators?

Supposing a moderator does something to really upset a member, and then they want to sue the site. Is that something that would be of concern?

Hmm well that is a pretty general question but I do not think most threats of suit go anywhere on the Internet.

Yes, I meant it as a general question, and hopefully you are right. From my research it seems this is mostly the case.

Yeah, there shouldn't be much to worry about. I would think about talking to the staff member though, see what happened and if anything needs to be changed
