Getting Staff

I need help just getting that staff. I just started a Promotion site for forums, and I posted on numerous sites asking for general positions such as Moderator and Forum Reviewer. I have had no luck =

Is this a second forum, unrelated to Chatbam?

What is the URL?

I think you need to consider being a one man show for the time being; get some members and the starts of a community going and then recruit staff from your membership base.

I always find that is the best way to go to be honest - you get a lot of time wasters if you just recruit people randomly around the net - although I would still go for it if I were you because sometimes you can come across a rare gem. My advice would be to draw up an outline of EXACTLY what each job will involve and what you expect of your staff.

Then have a set of questions to grill all interested parties with and to have an interview with them before bringing them on. I find this eliminates time wasters, and ensures that the interested people are actually interested!

Best of luck by the way! Let us know how it goes!!

It's best if you pick out staff from your existing memberbase. If you find staff from other places, some of your old responsible members who deserve a staff position might not be too happy.
