In life the only person it's possible to trust with 100% certainty is oneself. I would never share my PayPal information.

Besides... this Paypal security key is cool.

Actually. I probably would, but because I know them and HAVE known them for... gosh... a long time and have seen how careful they are with other things! There is of course a hierarchy but I have at least 2 admins that have my bank account number... we make transfers between banks for donations etc all the time. I've lent money and got it back from one of them. I do think it would be a rare occasion, and I'd likely change my password after I let them in. I mean let it be a case by case basis but if I ever couldn't get to my paypal account and desperately needed to, I know I could trust them to help me.

And then I'd change my password.

Nope.

I'd no way give my paypal info to my family let alone my staff. The only way my family will get access to my paypal account is if I authorised them in, just like how they have to get access to my computer if I'm not already using it.

At which point in life do you cease to be a single person managing your money to being a business large enough to employ a financial secretary, or a CFO? Imagine a business or a corporation that the sole owner was the only one to sign checks all day...the business would suffer.

If you have a need for someone with full access to your paypal account, then you are trusting them to manage your money. You might want some legal advise to set up a business and clearly defining your friends role with your money.

For those who tied paypal to their personal accounts, I'd recommend you get a new bank account dedicated solely to paypal in case you end up on the wrong side of a bad deal. No reason to have your mortgage payment tied up with your virtual business assets.

I have a separate paypal for my site. The log in and password is available to my Head Admin. She also happens to be my best friend. I have someone that has access so that they can see that all monies are going to the site, and not to my paypal

I wouldn't trust family with it, lol. I would create a system that does not require me sharing my banking information with someone besides my wife.
