![]() | Referral System?! I'm sort of... shocked... to see that SMF doesn't even have a referral system in place! I was thinking about this because I wanted a referral contest to promote my forum, but then I realized I never noticed a single page or word about referrals in SMF. I tried looking on the smf mods database for a referral mod, but I didn't find one... ![]() I've seen a screenshot of a referral field in SMF but I think that was custom made... Does anybody know how I can implement a referral system into my SMF board? Thanks! |

I did however install the "Custom Profiles Field" and created a spot to put in your referrer there. I had to tally it up on my own, but it wasn't too bad. It depends how large and fast your forum is growing.

![]() | Ah, thanks for a smart solution ![]() My board is still really small, so I guess it won't be so bad hand-counting the referrals ![]() I just hope SMF1.1 will have a referral feature or mod when it comes out |

![]() | You could pay to have a mod made, prolly wouldnt cost much on one of the freelance programmer sites. Wish SMF had it already too. |
