| Veteran ![]() | Background Table EDIT - Problem solved! (below) I'm getting frustrated now I've been trying for quite some time to resize the forum width, and add a background table with side images. Like our old look at Invisionfree - http://s8.invisionfree.com/snprsbasement I want to get those repeating side images, and table going, but every attempt has so far failed. I've even tried going through the global headers and footers mod I've installed. The SMF support forums are not helping at allI did manage to resize the forum width, but it would not center itself, despite several different variations of the center tag and whatnot I'm sure this is a simple operation, but I'm not that great with coding. I make images Any help would be more then apreciated ------------------- Well, the SMF support forum came through. If anyone's wondering the solution, it can be found here http://www.simplemachines.org/commun...topic=164026.0

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just out of curiosity, could you explain to me what you were trying to do (with the background table)? I'm interested in some extra tips.

| Veteran ![]() | If you see the first link above to my old IF site, I was trying to get those side images to display on my SMF board. To do that on IF, I made a table that is over top the forum background, but still under the forum content itself, sort of a secondary background. This also resized and centered the forums. The borders where added on the edges of the table, and dictated by an additional CSS style sheet definition with a repeat y function I could have the table a different colour, but in my case they are identical, which is why it may not look like a table there I hope I explained that right...
