 | any good blog integration? I am using SMF and would like to put up a blog on the home page. I would like it to integrate with my SMF theme. Which blog software should I use? |

  | Well Wordpress is my favorite to use, it has a great back end that is very easy to pick up. I also suggest it for the massive amount of plugins that are available.

| Yes wordpress will be fine. If you know some php and have some design skills it will be easy to give to the blog the look of the forum and add some forum related stuff (like last posts, etc.) But to integrate it it would really hard (eg. make forum users post comments, etc.)

| There's a mod out there... Simple Machines - SMFBlog I don't like it at all, but you can't possibly have anything easier to integrate.

  | The easiest way to get something similar to a blog and connect it to your forums would be to get Joomla (a bit bloated for just blogging, but I'd try it out you might like it) and then get the Joomla SMF bridge installed.
