Final Thoughts (majority opinion of the AdminFusion staff):

If we had to pick one thing that Dumi did correctly with PrisonBreakScene, it would be the promotion. PrisonBreakScene is a fan forum on a television show. These forums are oftentimes temporary (lasting only as long as the associated show), so it is important to jump in early. Dumi jumped in one year after the show first aired but has still put up some incredible numbers.

In just over 2 months, PrisonBreakScene is among the largest forums for Prison Break. If you will just take a very brief look at PBS's Announcements forum, you will see why. It is flooded with all sorts of promotional campaigns...contests, brainstorming, word of mouth, promotional banners, etc. This should be an example to all new forums, promotion pays off, or as RedMatrix puts it, "Dumi must have made a pact with the gods, for the activity is astronomically fantastic! I love the impact."

The design is definitely another strong point of PrisonBreakScene. It is dark-themed, but not too dark...instead, appropriately dark, especially for a jail break! The logo/header is also very clean and professional. The rest of the forums are well organized, and the Adsense integretion is great. We really like the use of the images to the left and right of the Adsense images and the option for visitors to minimize the ad block if they so choose.

The discussion at PrisonBreakScene is great. There is all sorts of discussion on things such as spoilers, character analysis, pictures, predictions, and of course off topic discussion when you need a break. We did notice, however, that there is a strong focus on "on topic" discussion at PrisonBreakScene. Many forums, particularly fan forums, have a high percentage of off topic discussion. This is not the case at PBS. The "Today's Posts" link consistently pulls up multiple pages of threads. If you are a Prison Break fan and cannot find something good to discuss in these forums, then you won't find it anywhere!

Great work Dumi and the rest of the staff at PrisonBreakScene. You have a great forum in the making, and we're looking forward to following its progress!
