It seems that as each month goes on, our Forum of the Month keeps getting more and more unique. Well, this month is no exception. This month we bring you The Nextel Forums. These are forums strictly for cell phone users with a strong focus on Nextel - what an idea! Before you start to think that there can't possibly be much interest in Nextel to warrant a forum, take a look at their forum statistics. Nearly 9,000 members and 40,000 posts, the admins at The Nextel Forums have done well promoting and maintaining their forums. Our staff at AdminFusion has seen other similar forums before (brand specific cell phone forums), and we see TNF capitalizing on some of these other forums' weaknesses, notably organization and management.

If you haven't taken a look at The Nextel Forums in a while, you should, as they have recently undergone a design change. The new design is very clean with a distinct "tech" feel to it. We particularly liked the new logo and header, but moreso the white/silver color scheme. This design simply screams cell phone, and therefore fits quite well with the subject.

As already hinted out, the memberbase at TNF is very solid. There is a very large number of members visiting the forums day to day, and they enjoy their stay at the forums very much. Signature and posting guidelines are lenient, and the members can therefore enjoy themselves. But don't think that it is a free-for-all. Rarely does a thread go unnoticed at TNF. There is a large amount of very useful and professional information for your cell phone all throughout the forums as well as many people who are quite knowledgeable on the subject.

Now, aside from the forums and members themselves, there are many great additional features at The Nextel Forums. They have an arcade to relax in, a paid download section, trader ratings, and more. The modifications are definitely numerous, so we are to assume that a stay at TNF is not a boring one. They even have a shoutbox for you shouters . We also wanted to make special note of the tutorial/how-to section. There is a section for cell phone tutorials that is quite large, a great resource for all cell phone owners.

You will find two TNF admins here at AF, LOW and Caddyman. Both members are dedicated to their forums and know what they are doing. The Nextel Forums is definitely a top notch forum worth visiting if into cell phones.
