Looking through Webdigity ourselves, it did not take long to figure out why. The place is packed full with content, features, active members, custom images, and so on. It really is hard to set yourself apart from other webmaster forums, but Webdigity does it well. We'll start with the design. It is very clean and very simple. There are not many free SMF skins out there today, but the one at Webdigity is wonderful. It is complimented by a very sleek and crisp logo and some eye-catching custom forum icons. The sidebar and skyscraper ads have also been integrated quite nicely. The welcome message also looks superb. Instead of being in paragraph or list form as most welcome message are, this one is separated into very clear columns. Many people will say that, out of the box, SMF is far too cluttered. Nikolas has managed to add a wide array of new features while still, in our opinion, cleaning up the interface. Speaking of these new features, let us point out the great modifications that have been made to Webdigity. We consider the modifications and addons to be the highlight of these forums. They transform Webdigity into something that COULD have otherwise been just another webmaster forum. Webdigity comes with a directory, arcade, shop, RSS syndication, a sidebar, list of recent topics, users online today, a tutorial/resource database, and more! Advertisements have been seemlessly integrated, and the guest welcome message was very enticing to the AdminFusion staff, who were simply reviewing the forums. Even though the modifications are more than numerous, we are still convinced that they are not overdone, but instead, well done. Given the ongoing contests and the shop feature, the members are definitely encouraged to participate in the forums, and it shows. While the forum is still rather young, the activity seems to be pretty steady. It appears Webdigity has some dedicated members that really enjoy the site and all it has to offer. There is a lot of activity and a nice amount of extras, who wouldn't go back? Lots of the members know what they are talking about, and the rest show their appreciation in the threads. We saw very few one liners, but rather many in-depth responses. Also, if you're looking for some good webmaster articles and tutorials, be sure to check out the Tutorials and Resources sections at Webdigity. These are jam-packed with great information. Finally, the staff. To put it bluntly, one of our staff members said, "Nikolas is the friendliest admin 'round town." Not only is Nikolas so friendly, but so is the rest of his staff. They are very friendly, quickly responding to questions and providing solid and helpful answers. Great job, Nikolas, it is very evident that you have put a lot of time and effort into your forums ![]() To discuss these forums and congratulate Nikolas on the award, please go here.
