Google Chrome - Google has a web browser!

Google has released it’s own web browser: Google Chrome. Before Google Chrome, I was a huge fan of FireFox. The new release of FireFox was great but took way too much memory. Google Chrome comes with the functionality of FireFox but at a much lesser stress level for your PC. We at MMA Chump highly urge users to download google Chrome to view this site and all others.

Why should I use Google Chrome?
  • Crash Control - Every tab you’re using is run independently in the browser, so if one app crashes it won’t take anything else down.
  • Incognito Mode - Don’t want pages you visit to show up in your web history? Choose incognito mode for private browsing.
  • Safe Browsing - Google Chrome warns you if you’re about to visit a suspected phishing, malware or otherwise unsafe website.
  • Simpler Downloading - No intrusive download manager; you see your download’s status at the bottom of your current window.
  • New Tab Page - Every time you open a new tab, you’ll see a visual sampling of your most visited sites, most used search engines, and recently bookmarked pages and closed tabs.

So check out Google Chrome.

I checked it out and its pretty cool and has a lot of good features. I doubt I end up switching though, I'm just too used to FireFox and it has all my saved passwords and stuff, plus addons, so for now I'll play around with it but do most of my browsing on FF.

I said the same thing until I found it converted all my browsing history and saved passwords

Yeah I had forgotten it gave me the option to do that, but it said "please close firefox to continue" or whatever and I closed firefox and it still wouldn't let me copy it all over so I said skip this step. If I can figure out how to do that then I might use it more.

Mine freezes quite often. Wanted to like it, but every few times I go to select a bookmark or interact with the tabs it freezes.

Firefox runs fine, IE runs fine, it isn't my computer.
