I've deleted some files on my computer, Help please.

I deleted some affected flies (with AVG free) and now when I start my computer up the only?
thing that shows up is the wallpaper. not the desktop icons or the taskbar. I think the effected files I deleted were system32 or that might have been the folder name where the files came off. I don't know what to do! so if you can help that would be great!

I believe AVG takes a back up (or creates a restore point) before it starts deleting stuff.

Have you tried starting it up in SAFE MODE?? As the computer boots, hit F8 repeatedly, it'll take you to a black screen which asks you if you want to start up in SAFE MODE. Pick that one... tell us what happens. Hopefully... you can get in that way, go to your AVG and restore your stuff.

Good luck!

You might want to go do a google search for "Tech Support Guy Forums".

Thats a forum where you can register - for free of course, and take help from professionals. (They are real life hard-coders and can help you through the worst of stuff).
