| A little profile update I went to change my profile forum thingy from IPB 2.1.x to 2.2.x and see it's not been added yet. Could someone please add it when they have a few minutes spare. Thanks Bob  ps, what kind of word filter are you using, lol. I tried to change my title to "What's admin mean?" and it's filtered out admin   | ||||

You're right...we haven't added IPB 2.1 yet...don't fret, it is there now so feel free to update  As far as "admin" being censored...meh, that is vB's default setting. They don't allow people to use the "admin" or "moderator" in titles so that there is no confusion about who is staff and who isn't. It may not really be necessary...I've never really considered it

| I personally disable the vB auto filter, its quite annoying, i don't think it will be a problem here. (I doubt anyone here is immature to go around with "Admin" as there rank...)

Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 10,246 Location: Athens, GA | Nope, strange...at first I figured it just hadn't changed because the Titles/Ranks cron hadn't run yet...but then I took a look at your profile and noticed it was actually set to "What's ***** mean?". So then I figured that you had changed it yourself...but then I saw your reply here and am to assume that vB doesn't just censor titles on the fly, it actually changes them when you submit a censored word. When you put "admin" into your title when the censor was in place, vB actually put "*****" into your title...it didn't store "admin"
