I like that theme a lot. However, I personally prefer the blue one. Maybe I'm just use to it. However, the extra functionality (and revenue, hehe) of that skin could make it worth it.

However, I have to say that the "What's going on area" could use some work. I think a separate background color would be useful so that users could distinguish it from the rest of the forum.

Personally, I think this one and this one are the best out of the group - it looks to me as though they are the same theme, just two different pages. It also looks like they are updated versions of the one you previously mentioned. Only thing is they need the thread title in the last post column on the forum listing.... that would probably come when it's coded, though.

I like the updated version of that one, Eric. However, I'd love to see the design for a member. What will happen to the blue welcome area? Will it be replaced with advertising, or just go away?

haven't settled on this version of the design yet, i think that blue area is going to either highlight some area of the forum, like the latest articles, tutorials, info about postfusion, info about the forum comparison matrix, some ads etc. i think that something we are missing out on is really showing what we have so i am going to try to remedy that.

i hope to be getting a ton more articles, tutorials, features, and other stuff so even members that have been here forever can benefit

How about you show me a design that "you" think if worth $500

If anything like this is the default design on AF, without the blue AF style, i will hardly come on AF..AF is the main reason why i come on the computer, so i'll just stay on the Xbox..

The reason why i registered at best-board was because of the design, the only reason i stayed at AF when they merged was the design, i was going to go to TAZ when i heard B-B was mergeing with AF, but the design on AF caught my eye, and i really like it..and then got to new the members and staff etc..

To be blunt, if you don't come up with a good replacement for the design you will be pissing alot of people off..including alot of seniors by the looks of it..

Give me a break. The Best Board design sure was pretty but pretty doesn't mean user friendly. It was too graphic heavy and too squeezed together. Very hard to navigate around and hard on the eyes imo.

If the only reason you come to the site is the style and would leave if it changed to something you just weren't absolutely thrilled with then that's pathetic.

I don't like this one: http://contests.sitepoint.com/contes...ies/308922.jpg because it looks too much like the current one and the header doesn't go with anything else on the site. The colors don't match up imo. If it was to become the default skin then that would suck but I wouldn't go running off because of it.

I think for $500 dollars much better can be done.
