Please don't stray to far from the traditional vBulletin layout. I hate sites that try to be innovative and move everything around for the sake of being different. The majority of popular vBulletin sites keep the default style layout of forums and threads for a reason. It makes it easier for users to easily recognize a traditional forum which is welcoming to them since it is what they are used to dealing with.

Also, why is there a random 101domain.com link thrown above the whos online? That's tacky.

we'll try to do something in the middle, i want a fresh look that can be filled with info, tools, and ads, and something a little more innovative than the standard vbulletin default skin

to my knowledge that has been here since before i got here. the only thing i have really changed aside from the links is seperating out the stickys and updating the ads in the header, footer, and postbit

hahaha, how funny...That's a link from TextLinkAds. I had set that up probably 6 months ago just testing it out...Nobody ever bought a link, to my knowledge, and then, as soon as we sell ownership, somebody buys a link

I hope the new design isn't plastered with ads, and this theme is kept as an option. I really like fixed sites.

I agree. But for my websites with less tech savy people. I receive from 75 to 100 uniques a day of users who use 800 X 600 still.

While that's only about 7% of the users, it's high enough for me to not go that wide.
