Hi.. I just noticed in my profile that under my reputation there is an entry, one with a red box, so I assume bad, that says:

"be a man and leave your name when you do negative feedback"

The link next to it is this:

But I have never left negative feedback (don't even know how to) for someone so I don't know what to make of it. The only thing I can think of is someone gave someone in that thread a bad reputation mark for immature behavior or something (I say that because the post below mine there was an edited snide comment and still is, lol), and that person thinks I left them a bad reputation? Ironically, they didn't leave THEIR name when leaving me the reputation, so I am even more confused.

Even though people apparently do, I don't pay attention to this reputation stuff but just happened to read my profile today and was curious. I have no idea why I received a bad reputation thing, or why it says ""be a man and leave your name when you do negative feedback."

Is this just someone playing baby games with the system or something?

I just checked the logs...This is what happened

I also find it ironic that the person who gave you negative rep didn't leave their name either. To the person who did it, you know who you are, and I do too

It's probably someone who either thought that you left them a negative reputation, or someone who is just being immature. Either way, don't worry about it.

Exactly, someone got upset and bit back like a baby. Unfortunately they got the wrong person so you have a neg rep for it.

Being a man is more like getting a neg rep and shrugging it off instead of making a bad attempt at revenge like they did.

The rep system isn't policed or anything so it is up to the users to be mature about it. Sometimes things like this happen but you should just not worry about it because you know you didn't do anything to warrant bad rep.

Well, using your phrase, "real men" don't go around sites harassing people playing baby games. They try to do it in person, at least. So grow up and cut it out or your employer, WowBB, will see a paper trail of harassment that includes PMs and other items you think I am not aware of, as I politely ask AdminFusion to support my notion that I should be able to conduct myself here without harassment from staff at other sites that have emotional and maturity problems.
