launch team idea for AF?

im sure some of you know what a launch team is so i wanted to know if we were going to have that service intergrated into AF? my idea is create a team of responsible , mature posters and charge new forums starting out a small service fee to get them on off the ground.

or no charge depending on the AF admins. alot of new forum owners need help when it comes to posting. forums die over it so why not offer a solution to theyre issues? i have seen so many admins want to throw in the towel over the lack of activity so it should be a good idea to think about.

its raw but its an idea. who can add to it?

This is another suggestion that we've had in the past and the general consensus was that this is what PostFusion is for...PF basically is a giant launch team...It doesn't work quite the same way, but is similar...if we were to create some sort of launch team at AF, it would definitely detract from PF - a launch team would mean fewer people with the need to participate in PF....and PF is really one of our big driving forces at AF.

i hear you but that would mean the admin would be limited to it. i see your point but my point is this.

if i want people to post on my site thru PF then i (1person) have to post on theyre site. so it would be me alone posting instead of a team. and vise versa.

so 10 posts for 10 posts , while the launch team can have 15 to 20 member posting at once with the admin over seeing us work. it makes it a little easier and lets the admin consentrate on his forum while we do what he payed for.

The fact of the matter is that somebody has got to make the posts...and it would more than likely be you, the members...and the only way the system would work would be for it to be balanced - which would mean you put into the system as much as you receive...which is essentially a post exchange....and that is what PostFusion is all about.

Now, if we were to charge a fee for this...well, then it is essentially paid posts, but we are just kind of an intermediary...I just feel like we should put our focus on PF here at AF...since it's a great system that can only be found at AF. Anybody can start up a launch team, so that's nothing special.

Taz uses this launch team, so having one for af, isn't nessacarily a good idea. Postfusion is mainly what the launch team is, I don't think it's a good idea.
