We are looking to run a contest here at AdminFusion to bring some life to the place.
  • The goal?
    -- ACTIVE members, quality posts, articles, etc.
  • The budget?
    -- $15-20
  • The reward?
    -- Undecided...either cold, hard cash via PayPal, domain + hosting, or some other prize you suggest. Right now one reward we have in mind is a free domain + 3 months or so of hosting. We could offer different choices (ie: 1 month of hosting with greater resources or 6 months of hosting with fewer resources)
If anybody has run contests with similar goals and/or budget in the past that was successful, let us know. We are still brainstorming in the background, but would love to hear any suggestions you have - as you would be the ones participating

Well software would be great but expensive, maybe get a store and sell gear, and give away free gear. Also my payedm meberships.

Definitely something we are considering. We are in the midst of testing out a banner rotation system to use at the top of the forums. This is probably a little ways off though, as there is a lot of work that needs to be done to get it working...definitely something in the mix though.

Right now we are currently using a single advertiser (www.yesadvertising.com), but are testing http://www.phpadsnew.com for future use - if we choose to rotate member's banners, it will be with phpAdsNew
