it's a shame that this mod; vB 3.8 - 4.0 vB Facades: Different, multiple forums running off 1 vB installation - vBulletin.org Forum doesn't work with vBSEO, (well, doesn't seem to)

We are writing something very similar, but with URL redirect support and merged user tables.

Do you plan on sharing it after development, or will it remain in-house software?

I just checked out vBsetup, quite a nice forum you have there, i only saw 1 person who had been online in the past 24hours though, or did it just re-set or something, anyway, theres probably alot of nice content on the site.

Are you actually going to merge it into AF? that mod sounds like it runs two forums but both the same content on both? is that what you plan on doing..

I’m really surprised you didn’t take me up on your offer.

So a few questions before I go:

Why didn’t you reach out to members to people months ago? Makes no sense, it takes this thread for sanjay to actually post here.

Sanjay listed some outline planes here: Restore Adminfusion

I am also looking at some other admin forums that are for sale. These will have smaller post and thread counts, but more members online. If we find the right one at the right price- we will merge it into AF and solve many of our issues immediately.
He’s gotta a dead forum here and he is looking to buy another and merging them and he thinks that’s gonna solve issues? I think he has some issues.

It’s amazing to he has listed all this stuff he wants to do, where was this 6 months ago? Even 3 months ago? And one of the biggest questions is why hasn’t any of it been done already?

Anyway enough said from me, in the words of “The Sharks” on Shark Tank (or The Dragons on Dragons' Den) I’m Out!

Nice entrance out of the forum, really...

If he buys another admin forum that has regular active users posting/coming online then obviously that will sort out AF's number one problem, inactivity, would it not?

I cannot answer why it hasnt been done, as i'm not the one in charge, but sanjay said its in development. Sanjay doesn't just own AF, he owns alot of other forums aswell, so that's probably the reason why things have been a bit slow.

First of all. This community was dead long before sanjay purchased it.

Secondly. I really hope you guys will put more effort into promoting postfusion. It's a great service (at least it was when it was actually being used...). Its the only thing that makes this community stand out among the other forums out there. And I believe its the only thing that could "save" AF.

The ugly fact is that the "forum admin forum" niche is competitive and unprofitable.

People enter this niche because it's a labor of love, and few CEO's have time for that sort of thing in their busy schedules.

We did not buy this site and vbulletinsetup for profit- we did it in order to stay abreast of forum developments. Still a work in progress, but we're working on it.

Also, I may be a CEO but my original forum is Gen[M]ay Frontpage and it is not very corporate. I am a forum geek and always will be. The problem is when I have a site with minimal staff in a startup situation. There's no way I can spend the same time that someone with only one forum to deal with. I do try, but it ain't easy.

Probably i am new here but i have been around webmaster forums since many years and admin fusion has really come good.
Looking upon the points from AZH, i think some of his points need to be given a thought in order to get this forum back in the competition.
The Alexa is also very low
