Thumbs up Sending Mass E-Mail
Just wondering what you guys are using as far as scripts to send out email updates to members.

I'm looking for something simple to import email address and send a monthly upates about the site.

I've had issues with VB mass email, 90% of the messages bounced back (tried sending to 1000 members at a time).

I had to generate a mail list through VB. Creates a list of all the emails you can copy and pste into a new email your writing at whatever service you have. I was getting the same problem with emails, and people weren't getting the registration emails either.

Since I switched to 6 today, and we got a faster server, it's been working through the email user in the admin pannel again

At one point in time I considered making a monthly mailer, but I found through my testing that most of my users' mail providers either marked our mail as Spam and just tossed it or didn't parse HTML and killed the whole theme of the mailer that I was going for.

Well if you have cpanel you can just set them to fail and the server load is not going to be a problem

I do the same thing to do any mails.
