Opinion on Vbulletin vs. PHPBB

| Title: Lurker Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 7 ![]() | I have used both and I'm currently using phpBB. While vB is far better than phpBB, I've noticed that regular users don't seem to really know the difference. To me, forum software is like Microsoft Office. Today's MS Office has way more features than the Office of 4 years ago, but most of those features are just icing on the cake. MS Office of 4 years ago is good enough. phpBB 2.0 has a lack of features and phpBB 3.0, when it comes, is better but still not as good as vB, but I think it's "good enough" for many forums.
