| Apprentice | Customer Support & Billing Script As I've said in my introduction thread, I am setting up a site for selling commercial styles and themes for vBulletin and WordPress (of course these styles and themes will be created by me). So, I need a good customer area/billing and support area script. I thought maybe the Kayako software might be an option, but if you guys know of any other good software that will run alongside vBulletin and WordPress then please spill the beans! Also if any of you have any experience with the Kayako software then please could you share them so that I can make an informed decision. Thanks. |

| Apprentice | Just to note, it's the customer area (where people can download what they purchased) and the billing that's the most important part for me. The support is obviously going to be given in the forums. I just need something that will display my products and lets me set the prices etc, and somewhere where customers can set up an account, purchase a product and somewhere for them to download their purchase. Any ideas which scripts I could use? I've just checked out Kayako and I'm not sure it fits the bill in this case. |

| Forum Addict ![]() | So you want something that will handle billing and support, I know that VB Geek makes a addon for vB called The Geekmart.

| Apprentice | Support is pretty much covered although it might be a nice idea to have a ticket submission script. But what I really want is a billing area, download area, customer ara... you get the idea. Thanks. I checked it out and their store is off line due to some family crisis. Any other ideas? |

| Apprentice | I've been playing around with CubeCart v4 and it seems to be a decent script. Before I shell out for the script at the end of this month, I'm wondering if any of you guys have any experience with Cubecart? Or are there better alternatives out there? |

| Forum Addict ![]() | CubeCart 4 is definitely a great script, I've also heard great reviews of the powerful, free Zen Cart

| Apprentice | Well I might try Zencart as it's free. Do you think sites like Extremepixels custom code their store?

| Member | Last I checked, EP used aMember for their members' area. I know vBStyles.com uses a custom coded solution. They too used to use aMember for management though moved to their own solution as aMember, I suppose, didn't suit the needs of their growing business.
