This is rare....never do you find forums where such a large majority is in favor of IPB...it's almost always vB...vB this, vB that....ah, a good change I must say
[/b]

well this an IPB board and the vB fanatics that are like that most likely wont sign up.
usually the forum software used on the board wins, mostly because alot of the members wouldnt have signed up if they didnt like IPB.

I voted IPB, my favourite forum software.

That's not true at all, haha...I think the only person that would not register at a forum solely because of the software would be the creators themselves, lol...I'm pretty sure there are not any diehard fanatics out there that flat out refuse to sign up for the opposing software

not quite like that, but unless it very well modified i would definatly choose an IPB forum over an phpBB based one even if the content is pretty much the same. Im sure there are alot of vB fans who could say the same.

Untrue. You're a member at TAZ aren't you. Because I can tell you that alot of its members only joined and continue to come back because it uses vB.

Actually I was thinking about making a phpBB pre-mod. I coudn't distribute it because I'd be too lazy to get the permission from the authors of the hacks, but generally speaking, if I do get around to it, I could slide you a copy under the table.

I don't really understand what you're getting at....yes I'm registered at TAZ...and it runs on vB...I'm registered at who knows how many forums...I never take software into consideration...90% of the forums I frequent are either vB or phpBB...neither of which I prefer

I used to like vB last time.
But get bored of it.Now i like IPB more.
The features and layout of the forum is better than vB.
