Writing articles and submitting them to sites like this is definitely a great way to get backlinks, just realize that it is going to take a lot of time because there are so many sites that you need to submit to. Publishing these articles on your website is not a good way to increase your PR...It could do so very indirectly (because people may link to your site since it has many articles), but if your goal is just to increase PR, you should focus on other means.

I have 2 goals - one is increasing PR for all the obvious reasons and the other is attracting new members. I would love additional feedback from you on this if you have any.

Graet List.. BUT....
Thanks for the comprehensive list. It is exhausting just reading the list

I think it is important to point out, especially to internet marketing newbies, that you do not have to post articles on all these sites to generate traffic to your sites

I personally find that selecting a couple of really good sites and psoting to them does the trick

Goarticles and ezinearticles are said to be favoured by google so those may be the place to start
