Title: Forum Enthusiast Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 2,139 Location: Maryland, US ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay I have been doing something's and trying to get visitors to my site so id thought I would share! First off, Submit your site to all the directories you can find! it works, I submitted my website to http://ipbdirectory.com/ and I got a few members! heres a big list that you should try submitting your site to everyone, http://www.ranktips.com/directory-list.htm Second, Always put your link to your website where ever you can lets say you do it in your sig at a forum then post 1000 times, your website is shown 1000 times for free! Third, lets say you write some codes then submit it to like hotscripts.com in the zip file or whatever you use create a shortcut to your website (right click in the folder and click new then new shortcut and enter your websites url) then when they download it so many times they will see it and might click it! and if they upload it to somewhere else the same file more people download it! then it goes on and on.. So really advertise your website whenever you can, I tell all my friends and ask them to tell their friends but most do not , My sister has a myspace.com thing and she's gotten like some odd thousand visits over like a few weeks.. I don't understand people who don't try always succeed and people who try sometimes succeed and sometimes fail so I want to have her put a link on her thingy but she says no ...Oh and this may sound odd but sometimes I write my website url on paper and then leave it somewhere lol but I don't know if anyone actually found it and went there but its a try! topsite lists, submit to them they are great because then at your forum you could have a special forum that they have to vote on the topsite to get a password for it and then they can login so you get voted more and move up and more people notice your site.... USE LOGIC! ;D And if you have AIM or some instant messenger add your url to your website, and email addresses put a signature for it and have your url, there is so many ways to advertise your website if you just think about it, you may say that these are easy but I am just giving you tips Well that's really it now I don't have any more ideas, I will update this later when I think of some more. If you like please leave comments and if the admins or mods like please pin

I must confess signatures have given me some traffic and even the hotscripts nuke installation tut I made gave me some visits too. For someone who is not willing/can't afford to pay, these tricks are indeed the best to be used since it's quality targeted traffic. There are people who use free traffic services (trafficswarm and others), but in the end people stay for 20 seconds to get the credit and leave. Advertising through good posts and content is indeed harder but with better results. People already know what you can do and then have the curiosity to come and check the site.
