No, paid posting is only poor if you order from the cheapest companies who use untrained posters from India [or some other eastern company where people work for peanuts]. Get paid posting from a reputable company who employs experienced first-world posters, and you won't have any problems - you get what you pay for. High quality information? I don't think so. If Yahoo could provide such high quality information, why does everyone I know use Google?

I'm sure everyone else will agree with me that the posts from this automated system are very poor. I doubt they'll even meet the minimum word limit on most forums.

The 1 thread I viewed on your forum would have been ok if it wasn't all 1-post users with the same sig. These posts don't look too bad to me http://www.flunkme.com/showthread.php?t=656

okay, I agree... u can pay huge money to get paying posts... but how much will that cost? in the end will profits outweigh loses?

when u say everyone uses google, you should be more accurate with your statements... current stats by market capitalization looks like this:

The company's market capitalization:

* YAHOO: $36.58 Billion
* GOOGLE: 147.05 Billion

The company's revenue:

* YAHOO: $6.2 Billion
* GOOGLE: $9.3 Billion

As you can see, google owns much larger share of market... it literally does own it Google has twice as much net income than yahoo - but take a look at company revenues, there is only 2 billion difference... this means that yahoo as a company is doing better than google - Basic financial statement analysis If I had money I would rather invest in yahoo than in google
... don't underestimate yahoo its still a giant!

I'm a BBA student, all I do is read case studies about big companies

And I don't think everyone agrees with ur statement about poor quality posts... u can take a look yourself:

http://www.flunkme.com/tags/financial-aid/
http://www.flunkme.com/showthread.php?t=426

there are some posts that are more than 500 words, there are posts that are below 100... just like on usual forums

thanks! at last some sane comments!

I agree 1 post and sig is a problem... I'll ask owners of the script to do something with it

Right now I'm arguing for the sake of discussion don't take too close to ur hurt... I sometimes sound harsh and mean, but I;m not like that at all... so if I said something and offended anyone I'm sorry.

I think it looks interesting for a beginner forum if you can have mosts larger than "one liners" I also think its a little too expensive

I added "Daily Trivia" for my board. It is rather popular and you can customize categories and skill levels as well.

I wish I had been around earlier to blast this thread because this sort of nonsense irks me.

On the one had you tout yahoo offers the service (feeds from yahoo answers) for free - all legal shmegal - then recommend removing the "yahoo thing" which IS WHAT MAKES IT LEGAL TO BEGIN WITH!

I give you a double thumbs down and an audible "grrrrr" . I imagine you have no problems with scraping content so long as it benefits you. That sucks.

If your forum can't attract real members without this mod , why continue ? Why not get a niche that really interests new members and encourages them to post ?
My forum is in a very small niche and is growing at a slow pace , but doesn't have any fake members to gum up the works .

The design of your forum is really nice but did you really have to spam it like that? By that i mean, every poster i saw was pretty much a 1 poster which put me off ALOT.
