I found a great software to inflate user activity! and free content for forums!

I found one very interesting software that generates content for your beginner forum! Its built for vb and is easy to install! After installation you can setup tags and system will automatically copy certein discussions from yahoo answers and paste into your forum with the new usernames. This mod is good for two things, inflating user activity and filling up an empty forum!

check how it works at flunkme.com / you can view, most of the content is generated through the API. What is important that yahoo provides this for free and its perfectly legal! Quality of the posts is superb! this goes ahead of paid posting by long leap.

Eh...the posts look like spam to me...They're all one-liners made by users with 1 post and they all have "Yahoo!" in their signature.

To each their own though...Usually I think we try to avoid spam instead of generate it

this is to fill up forum with content, its not something that will replace ur userbase...

take a look at this thread: http://www.flunkme.com/showthread.php?t=651

1 post thing is taken care of right now... creator of the script is thinking on the ways to merge users

you can also remove that yahoo thing, but thats against yahoo toss.

Its great for a new forum without any content and users. you have to start somehow

Sorry, but like I said, it may just be me, but I wouldn't want those kind of posts in my forums...Not only are they poor quality, but what happens when your users catch on? It won't take long, because it's pretty obvious that something fishy is going on there...I know that if it were me as a member, I wouldn't want to be talking to a bunch of computers.

well, I just proposed... I use it and my userbase is growing, google analytics is showing 50% increase goal conversion / user registration.

I used adminfusion system before, I tried to accumulate posts but than no one posted on my forum... so I decided to find other ways, paid posting is useless since it doesn't generate enough activity. I think this is the best way to fill up forum at this moment.

and than everything is not that simple... it depends on the type of forum and target niche!

This script will be useless on admin targeted forums... for the audience is mostly pro's who can tell between bot and a real post. My target market is a teen 16-20 its less luckily they will understand whats going on So again it depends on the type of forum...

I don't think it would take long for anybody to figure out that something is fishy with threads filled mostly with one-liners by users with 1 post and the same signature

well its possible to work way with 1 posts... u could remove post count from postbit for a while, before your forum reaches organic activity - than you can get back post count and remove this software! Also you can merge users, take 1 user from 1 thread and merge him/her with many users.

You can also use random avatar for each member.

About signature, yah thats a real trouble - but its a must for yahoo API, you can try to remove it - but than yahoo may get pissed.

p.s. look through the member list of every forum, 1 post members are dominating most of the forums... so I guess its alright at some point.
